With over 20 years’ teaching experience, and an impressive record of student accomplishments, Áine is one of Dublin’s leading independent singing teachers, working with children, young adults and emerging professionals.
All students are given individual coaching to help them explore their voice and gain performing confidence.
Students learn about posture, good breathing, resonance and registers, along with all the subtleties of vocal production needed to produce each individual’s best and most unique sound.
Students are encouraged to work towards regular goals which are agreed with the student as understanding about their direction and confidence is developed. This may include exams, competitions, concerts, singing with a group or leading church services – or indeed any form of challenge that the student feels comfortable to accept.
Students are prepared for Associated Board and Royal Irish Academy vocal examinations; Feis Ceoil, Wesley, Newpark and other music festivals and competitions; concert platforms; television and radio appearances; auditions; opera and music theatre roles; Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate practical examinations; demo CD preparation; church music; vocal ensembles; sight-singing and general musicianship.
Áine is the resident singing teacher at the Mater Dei Institute of Education, Mount Sackville secondary school and Sandford Park secondary school.
